The Crushers
The Caledonian Crushers are the adult team made up of both male and female players over the ages of fifteen and they in compete in GBWR Super Series league. Being as they are the only team in Scotland that compete in the GBWR league, they travel down to these league weekends, usually held in the north of England over three or four weekends. Though taking part in these competitions are purely optional.
On joining the team the first three training sessions and thereafter players will pay twenty pounds a month subs. The club realises the financial pressures that everyone is under these days, therefore these subs can be waived if required. The club would like as may people with mobility issues to enjoy the sport of wheelchair rugby and feel the benefits to their physical and mental wellbeing.

Wheelchair rugby is a fast paced, full contact team sport open to both sexes, ages 8+ and to most levels of disabilities, especially those with higher levels of disabilities for whom there are very few options to take part in sport. To qualify to play competitively, player must have a disability affecting their arms and legs, although there’s no restrictions to anyone who would like to join training for the fitness benefits.
